THE BURRATOR INN NEWSLETTER (updated 14th July 2008)

Greetings from overcast Dousland

July ???? More like December at the moment with the great British Summer weather......!!

Still, we did have a bit of Sun on Sunday - perhaps that was our Summer for this year, who knows ?

We enjoyed a great night's entertainment from Graham Hart on Saturday, and the turn out for the Sunday Quiz made Sunday evening good fun.

Next Saturday we have Faux Fur - keep an eye on our entertainment page of this web site for details of forthcoming live music here at The Burrator Inn

At the moment we are in the process of planning our 2nd Real Ale Festival - programmed for SATURDAY 30th AUGUST, from 12 until 11pm.

Once again, we shall be raising funds for our nominated charity by way of donating profit made, and also running a draw during the day which will be drawn on the evening.
Music will be provided by Selwyn Froglet, as from late afternoon and through the evening.
Last year was a real hoot with the guys, everybody hopping and bopping, so if you like an ale and a good laugh, don't miss out !!

Our nominated charity this year is The Help for Heroes campaign, who were founded to provide practical and direct support to the men and women of our armed forces wounded in the service of our country.

For further information refer to their web site:

http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk

All support will be greatly appreciated

Watch this page for further updates on The Ale Festival, what ales will be on offer etc.

That's about all for now, so take care and all the best,

Phil
